White was a common color and stood for purity. They did not arrange the plants in vases. Wreaths and cornucopias were the main style for this era. Grace, simplicity and symbolism characterized greek design. Most arrangements were scattered but still were triangular or symmetrical.

Wreaths and Garlands were the main pieces of this era, and were designed with herbs and flowers. Roses, lillies, violets and grape leafs to add color.

Athletes, heroes, dignitaries, and Greek gods were heavy influences on this time period. The Greek Era led to influence the later Roman time period
