STATIONS OF THE CROSS @ FUMC
I would like to invite each of you and your congregation to visit the Stations of the Cross here at Covington First UMC. The Stations of the Cross is the story and journey that Jesus took from the Garden of Gethsemane to the Cross. The soft background music accompanies you on a journey that has interactive elements at each Station that provides reflection, prayer and helps us to relate our own lives today to what Jesus might have been going through. Each vignette is filled with art, photographs, props that take you to the time of Jesus' journey.
This is an amazing experience for you individually, your family, Sunday School Classes, Bible Study groups, your staff, children and youth groups, your congregation, etc.... The hours of the Station of the Cross are Monday-Thursday-10am -5pm and Sunday afternoon 2-5pm. If you would like to bring a group in the evening or Saturday, please contact me and I would be happy to make those arrangements. The Stations of the Cross will be open through April 17th.
If you have any questions please contact me. I hope you will advertize the Stations of the Cross with your congregation. Attached are a few pictures.
I pray that you and your church family is having a meaningful and blessed Lenten Season.
