May 18: Lionettes Spring Show, 6:15 pm

May 19: Orchestra Concert at SCHS, 6-8 pm

May 20: Band Outdoor Spring Concert at WMS, 6 pm

May 21: 8th Grade Farewell Ball at the Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex, 6 pm

May 26-28: Grade Level Picnics - Student behavior is essential to be able to attend.

Chromebook Return

All Chromebooks, which have been issued by Woodcreek Middle School since March of 2020, will be collected beginning on Monday, May 17th. We will continue to accept the Chromebook devices through the last day of school, which is Friday May 28th. Device collection will be each school day from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Students who are face-to-face can return their devices throughout the day as well. When returning your devices please leave them with the WMS campus receptionist. Below you will find prices that are related to damages sustained to devices or devices that have been lost. Fees will be assessed once the returned device has been inspected by IT staff.

  • Broken Keyboard/Keys Missing: $30

  • Broken Screen: $50

  • Lost/Missing/Destroyed

  • Chargers: $40

  • Lost/Missing/Destroyed Chromebook: $300

Ticket Sales for Farewell Ball

Last chance to get your tickets before the price increases at the door.


Online sales will no longer be available after Tuesday, May 18th. Online ticket purchases will be distributed to students on Thursday, May 20th.


In person sales will be sold during C lunch Wednesday May, 19th - Friday, May 21st.

Yearbook Distribution

All face to face students can pick up their yearbook beginning Monday May 17 before school. You will need to come to room 508 on the way to first period. You must have your student ID. If you cannot pick it up before school, you will have another option at lunch. We will continue handing yearbooks out before school and at lunch for the remainder of the week.


All virtual students should have received an email from Ms. Cox regarding the drive thru distribution Monday, May 17 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. If you did not receive the email, please let Ms. Cox know by emailing her at stephanie.cox@humbleisd.net


There are no more yearbooks for sale this year; we have completely sold out.

Lions! Find a sweet read from SORA this summer! There will be 38 eBooks always available for checkout until August 20, 2021. Find the SORA App on MyHumble. Explore some summer reads and view tutorials on the presentation located on the library website.

2nd and FINAL COURSE REQUESTS VERIFICATION - DEADLINE 05/21/2021

Course requests for next year are now available for viewing on HAC. Please review your student’s selections with them.

If your student should have any of the below courses on their course selection, there is no need to send a request for a change.

If there are other changes you would like to make, please use the link below to communicate with your counselor.

WMS Spring Show and Parent Showcase

The award winning Lionettes Dance Team will be having their Spring Show to celebrate the end of the school year. The Spring Show will be held on Tuesday, May 18, at 6:15pm in the WMS competitive gym. The show will have dances from this year as well as new pieces. Also, we will have special guest performers from our community. The Lionettes will be selling wristbands $10.00 each (there is limited capacity).



The WMS Dance Department (Dance Class Students) will have a parent showcase in the WMS competitive gym. The showcase is free with donations appreciated. The performances will be broken up in two days in order to maintain a safe environment and will begin at 6:15pm.


May 24 - Dance Classes:

1st period - "Get Your Head In The Game"

2nd period - "Annie"

3rd period - "Footloose"


May 25 - Dance Classes:

5th period - "Cruisin' for a Bruisin"

7th period - "Grease"

Reminder from our School Nurse

No medication can be kept in the clinic over the summer. If you have students with daily or "as needed" medications, all will need to be picked up starting May 24th, 2021 with an end deadline on May 26th.


If you would prefer your student's medication to be destroyed, please send an email to RN Garcia at Lawana.Garcia@humbleisd.net stating medication can be destroyed and give the student's name.

Learning Location Changes

Friendly Reminder: The cut off for Learning Location changes was April 1st. In order to provide staff and students consistency and help with end of the year grade processing and testing, we are no longer approving learning location switches.

2021 - 2022 School Supply Lists

School supply list information has been added to our website. You can view supply lists by grade level or make things a little easier for next year by placing an EPI supply pack order. Place your EPI order by June 1st!

Early Parent Pick-Up

If you are planning to pick-up your child early, you must do so BEFORE 3:15 p.m. You must have an administrator's approval if you are in need of picking up you child after the 3:15 p.m. cut off period.

Student IDs

Please remind your student to wear their ID daily. We have many students arriving without an ID and need a temporary ID each day. Please use the QR code below to purchase a new ID for your student if needed.

Morning Wandering, Tardy Consequences, & Cell Phone Consequences

In efforts to curb student wandering in the morning we will move to a systematic consequence approach. We will follow the below consequences for students seen wandering the mornings:

  3. Assigned After School D-Hall

  4. Assigned After Extended School D-Hall

  5. Assigned After Extended School D-Hall & other consequences may be assigned by grade level administrator

Deliveries

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are not allowing deliveries on campus.

No Microwaves

In order to keep our students safe and adhere to the COVID-19 requirements, microwaves will NOT be available during lunches.

Dress Code

  • Shorts and skirts must be longer than finger tips when standing straight up

  • Spandex and leggings must be covered by a long shirt or jacket over backside

  • No Crop tops

  • No Spaghetti Straps

  • No Sagging

  • Earrings are permitted on boys and girls (Ears only, No other piercings allowed)
