Vision
The Walker Elementary vision is for all students to be college and/or career ready. Students will be respectful, responsible, and contributing citizens.
Mission
Students will be actively engaged in their learning where critical thinking and perseverance are the standards. Families, staff, and community will partner to help students develop strong academic and social skills within a safe environment where curiosity and creativity are nurtured.

Families become partners in learning.
Families’ responsibilities include:
Providing feedback, reinforcement, encouragement, and praise;
Asking probing questions;
Help students look realistically at the quality of the work;
Listening and spending time with their child;
Seeing what school is like through the “eyes of their child”.
Scholastic Book Fair
The book fair will be open late on Monday and Tuesday (9/24 & 9/25) during conference week.
