Forward Testing For Grades 3 and 4
- Get plenty of sleep the night before every test day. Because 4th graders have the most test sessions it will be very important that for three full weeks that your child get plenty of rest! 3rd graders will test for two full weeks.
- Eat a healthy breakfast! Breakfast is free for everyone so please remind your child to pick up a breakfast every single day.
- Make sure your mind and body are ready by wearing comfortable clothes, showering/bathing and having a positive attitude. Engage in self talk by saying, "I can do it!" We have been engaging in mindfulness and yoga activities all year and several students have used deep breathing activities.
- That is okay to talk about your feelings. Please do a check in on what zone your child is in and validate that all feelings are safe to share with you.
The exam is designed to gauge how well students are doing in relation to Wisconsin Academic Standards. These standards outline what students should know and be able to do in order to be college and career ready. The Forward Exam is administered online each Spring in grades 3-8.

Calling Your Child In Sick
Here are a few friendly reminders of the proactive measures that the Two Rivers School District has in place to ensure the safety of all.
If your child/ren are not feeling well (with one symptom) they may not attend school. They need to stay home or will be sent home.
Students may not attend school with any medication that reduces symptoms (cold medication, Tylenol or pain reliever, etc)
You must contact your child’s school if anyone in your household tests positive or are in close contact with someone who tests positive.
We request your cooperation with following these safety measures so we are able to continue to keep kids in school. If you have any questions feel free to contact your child’s school.
