The Falcon Flyer
October 2022
Dear Foothills Families,
Happy October to everyone! While I am sad October brings in colder temperatures, I do enjoy seeing the beautiful fall colors in the mountains. Just a reminder as it does start to get colder in the mornings to make sure your child comes dressed appropriately to be outside.
We have so many great things happening this month! The first SEPs of the school year, Fall Break, Red Ribbon Week, and Halloween. Thank you for reading through this newsletter to be in the know!
Our school is also doing a wonderful job of meeting our School WIG (Wildly Important Goal) of 90% of our students coming to school on time everyday. We have been at 93-94% for the month of September! We know that parents are a huge part of this goal as well so thank you for your help and support in getting your students here on time each day.
Thank you for allowing us to work as a partner with you in your child's education. Our students are kind, hard working, and resilient. We appreciate the support our wonderful parents give to our students and staff every day. Have a fabulous month!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Stoddard
Foothills Elementary Principal
