Inspiring respect, responsibility, resiliency & success.

Principal Message

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Clairmont Community School. I am really looking forward to this year as we return to what it means to be a Kodiak. Here at CCS we have a well-deserved reputation of being a caring, passionate and community focused school. We have created this reputation by following our simple Kodiak Code of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. We feel that if we can follow these three basic terms we will not only have a wonderful school but set our students up for future success. I am very proud of the school we have at CCS and look forward to continuing to work with our great students, parents, and staff during this school year.

I am excited to announce three new teachers to our staff at CCS. Lisa Airth will be teaching art and some grade 5 and 6. Makayla Wiseman is our new grade 4 homeroom teacher and last but not least, we have Erin Campbell as a new grade 5 homeroom teacher. Along with our three new teachers we also have many teachers doing new roles which should create some great changes throughout our building.

For all of our students that are returning to CCS, welcome back! If you are new to our school, welcome! I hope you all feel at home and enjoy the experience of being a Kodiak.

Let’s have a great year together and as always should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me at the school or send me an email at

Let’s go Kodiaks!
