There are a few things you should do before the interview. One of the most important things to do is research the company. By researching the company, you show you have initiative and you are interested in the job. Another smart thing to do is know where you're going before your have to go, this prevents any surprises along the trip. And lastly, always be there 5-15 minutes before the agreed upon time of the interview.

During the Interview

In the beginning of the interview, it is best to greet the interviewer with a firm handshake and an introduction during the handshake. Use the interviewer's name if you know it. Arrive 5-15 minutes before the agreed upon time with all the materials you'll need: a copy of your resume and references, a pen and notepad, and any other objects requested by the interviewer.
