Five Common Interview Questions
What is your greatest weakness? Be honest, but show how you're trying to fix it
Tell me about yourself...don't ramble about your personal life, talk about your work history
Why should we hire you? Talk about how you can benefit the company
Where do you see yourself five years from now? Don't be ambitious, but show you want to move up in the company.
After the Interview
Later you should send the employer a thank you note for the interview. This shows that you are still interested in the position and it reminds them of your politeness, manners, and initiative.
How to Dress for the Interview
Women - nice dress or slacks, not too much jewelry, not too much make-up
Interview Don'ts
Don't make excuses to look better...taking responsibility shows your personality and character. Don't act you will take any job that comes your way, make this own special. Never chew gum during the interview or smoke before. It may calm your nerves, but it the odors and noises from these two habits can cause immense problems during the interview.
