The Brauchle Post
November 15, 2021
Happy Thanksgiving!
What an amazing few weeks of November we had. Our staff continues to work super hard to ensure students are learning and progressing towards their goals. It is great to see the progress students are making academically and socially. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support. Together we know we can make a significant difference for our Lil' Cougars.
The rest of this month is pretty busy, so we will continue to share all announcements via smore in addition to call outs, and class dojos.
Thank you all for your continued support. We could not do without your constant support.

Kahuna Fundraising
We are over the top in shock and thankful to our community who sold $23,800.00 in products which means that our campus will receive about $9,520.00. With this money we are going to be able to purchase items for our Cougar Store, field trips (outside field trips along with bringing presentations in), pep rally fun, materials for instruction/crafts. Thank you all!
We could not believe how much our community sold. We are waiting on the Magic Show date from the company for those students who sold 10 plus items.
We appreciate your support with our Fall Fundraiser! It was a success because of you all!
Thank you again!
Background Checks
Please do this as soon as possible if you plan to volunteer for field day. You can call the front office once you do this to see if you have been cleared. It takes about 3 days or so.
Please remember that ANY parent on campus for ANY reason needs to have an ID. The ID is then run through NISDās Raptor system to ensure all adults are clear to be on campus. For example, if you come for a conference during the day, we will need an ID. If you come to an event, we also need your ID. Thank you so much! š¾
Field Day
Parents not volunteering, but want to come and see their child in action (to visit) will need to have their ID ready and check into the office to receive their Raptor badge.
Students will receive a sack lunch from cafeteria, so please feel free to pack your child's lunch.
Thank you all again! We are super excited about Field Day!
Parent Drop Off..
If you walk in your child between 7:00 to 7:15 a.m. please drop them off in the cafeteria. If you are dropping them off after 7:15 and your child does not want breakfast, please ensure they go to their designated areas. Pre-Kinder students- go to cafeteria, Kinder- 2nd- in their grade level hallways, and 3rd-5th grade go in the gym.
We will keep you posted about joining your child in the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch time as time progresses. As of now we are holding off from parents visiting in the cafeteria.
Thank you all for your support.

Thanksgiving meals
Northside ISD is working to address childrenās nutritional needs by opening a campus cafeteria during Thanksgiving Break, Nov. 22-24.
āWhen school is out, often times kids will go hungry,ā said Thomas Wherry, director of Child Nutrition in NISD. āIn partnership with the NISD Learning Tree program, our department will offer free breakfast and lunch along with some enrichment programs at a site convenient for parents.ā
Free breakfast and lunch will be provided at Pease Middle School with area communities also welcomed. In addition, the NISD Learning Tree will open the gym and have creative art activities available for the families.
Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., with lunch from 11 a.m. to noon. All meals will be served in the cafeteria. Pease Middle School is located at 201 Hunt Lane.
