As we end the first grading period of 2020-2021 I wanted to remind not only the teachers and staff at Collins but our amazing Collins families that you are doing a Good Job.

And not just a good job - but a GREAT JOB!

Music expresses best what is in my heart - I hope you can take a moment to listen.

Nurse Kendall Update

Now that it’s flu season, it is more important than ever to screen your child for symptoms of Covid-19 or flu before sending to school. Symptoms are very similar and include:

  • Fever or feeling feverish/chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue (tiredness)

  • Sore throat

  • Runny or stuffy nose

  • Muscle pain or body aches

  • Headache

  • Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults

If your child has any of these symptoms, please keep him/her at home, notify the school, and call your healthcare provider.

If my student is a Virtual Learner how do I get their picture taken for the yearbook?

Pictures will be taken in the front of the school. Please enter the front of the school using the drive through. Also, please stay in the car the entire time. When they are ready they will ask your child to exit the vehicle to have their picture taken. Once they exit the vehicle they will be directed to one of two locations. When they are done your child will return to the vehicle and you can exit the drive through.
