How did N.A.S.A. use it?

Satellites help N.A.S.A. study all kinds of things like Earth's clouds, oceans, land, and air. They also can help find wildfires, volcanoes, and smoke. They can also tell us about space like if a dangerous ray comes from the sun we would be alerted. Some explore stars, planets, astroids, and comets. There is a satellite that will be made that is called the TESS or Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite. This can help us find new planets in our solar system.

How do we use Satellite Television ?

Data, pictures, and words are sent up in a satilite then are sent back to earth in an invisible beam this is called a broadcast signal. We use this to watch television. The first satellite was made about 50 years ago! That was in 1966! So really every time you go to watch football or just any channel, you are using technology from 1966.
