Thomas edison had six kids named Charles Edison, Theodore Edison, William Leslie Edison, Thomas Alva Edison jr., Madeleine Edison, and Marion Estelle Edison. He got his education from Cooper Union (1875)-(1879).

Thomas Edison created many things like the incandescent light bulb which is used and will be used for ever for a light source. He also created the movie camera which will also be used forever in movies. He created the phonograph as well which was used for sound. These are only three of Edison's invention, he has many more things that he had invented in his time as a inventor. Thomas Edison had also made the first industrial research laboratory, known as the "wizard of Menlo Park".
