School is back in session. Shreve Island teachers are working hard to make sure your children continue to work hard and learn all the way through the end of the year. Please make sure your child is on-time to school everyday. Learning begins promptly at 8:00. Also, try to stick to a normal bedtime routine. This time of year it's hard because it stays light out longer and most of the other children are out of school. In order to learn, students need sleep. Please keep that in mind.

iPad Lab Fundraiser is Coming
read-a-thon.This is a GREAT fundraiser that encourages children to read and communicate with each other about what they read. Here's how it work:
1. Children use their login information (I will send home Monday) to login to their account and record the books they read. To avoid extra work, just take a screenshot of the books they read each week and turn that into their teacher for their reading log.
2. You authorize their account. See the minute-long video I attached below to see how or go
3. Children ask people to sponsor their reading. Sponsors make donations online (preferable) or with cash or checks. Online donations bypass children having to carry and then possibly lose cash and checks. It also makes the receipting process automatic. Check out the second video below to learn how to invite sponsors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn5dEgeS_ig
More information is coming! Thank you in advance for your help. If every child in the school raises $10, then the iPad Lab will make over $5000!
