Here we go!!!
As we embark on another school year together, I want to wish you the very best. Though the end of summer may bring some mixed emotions, I hope that you are excited to see our Wildcats tomorrow morning, and ready to make a difference in their lives.
As I think about the upcoming school year, I’m excited to see what is going to happen in your classrooms. As a school, we will remain steadfast to the commitments we began last year, focusing on growth and bringing a new level of personalization to instruction. Power Hour, while it may be a bumpy transition to start, will revolutionize the way we offer programs and services to our students. We will see increased supports for our college-bound students in the way of ACT prep, and even in the wake of losing positions, we have stretched our master schedule to include increased Advanced Placement and AVID offerings.
I believe these endeavors will have an enormous positive impact for our students as we keep moving RHS in the right direction.
If you haven't had a chance to see Governor Cooper's message, I have posted it below. It's a worthwhile few minutes.
I will see you all bright and early in the morning!
