FATIMA UPDATES!
Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow!
Dear Fatima Families:
It is with great excitement, but also sorrow, that we inform you that Coach Kelley's last day at Fatima will be next Friday, February 28th. He has been blessed with an amazing job opportunity. We are all very proud and excited for Coach Kelley's new adventure! Please wish him a big congrats when you see him!
A Letter From Coach Kelley!
Dear OLOF Parents,
First, I would like to say thank you for allowing me to be a part of your scholars’ life this school year. It is with great sadness to announce I am leaving OLOF on February 28th to start a new adventure. I have enjoyed working with all the scholars. They have a huge impact in my life, as I hope I have made one in theirs as well. An opportunity arose for me! I got to take a position I have wanted for many years. God finally answered my prayers and the position became available for me. I couldn’t pass it up. Again, I’m sorry to leave in the school year as it wasn’t my plan, but my dream job finally became available. I will be starting there the first of March. Thank you again for all the support I received this year from all the parents and allowing me to be a part of your children’s life.
Sincerely,
Kevin “Coach” Kelley
WHAT'S NEXT?
With Coach Kelley's departure, Our Lady of Fatima is seeking a new PreK Aide or Full-time PreK teacher. We have already posted both job descriptions on Applitrack, as well as in our parish bulletin. In addition to the Archdiocesan qualifications, we are seeking a passionate, energetic educator who loves Christ and the mission of our school! If you know of a qualified applicant, please have them contact Our Lady of Fatima office.
Father Clint, Mrs. Lopez, Mrs. Fields, and the staff all understand that our scholars and parents have had many changes this year. Our primary concern is the mental, emotional, and spiritual health of our scholars, so our team is here to support any and all scholars and families who might need assistance during this time. Father Clint and our Deacons will be available to offer extra guidance as needed. In the coming weeks, Mrs. Lopez will be reaching out to all of the PreK parents to personally discuss with them any transitions that may result from Coach Kelley's departure. Please know that the admin and teachers will be working hard to ensure that as few changes are made as possible. If you need our clergy's assistance or have any questions, please call the school office.
