The suns core

The core of the sun is shown above it is the little ball in the middle. The suns core is the main engine of the star we call sun . in the core gravity and heat provide the necessary energy that drives the nuclear fusion process that powers the sun.

The suns radiative zone

The suns radiative zone is just outside of the suns core this section of the sun is responsible for radiating energy through a process called photon emissions.

The convection zone

The suns convection zone is not dense enough to use radiative transfers of energy so instead of that it uses thermal connection zones in other words it boils. Through this process energy is carried through thermal column to the surface of the sun.

The photosphere

The photosphere is the surface of the sun this is the part where light is emitted from. The light is emitted through interactions with electrons.

The chromosphere

the chromosphere is a part of the sun that glow faintly because of emissions if hot low destiny gases. It can only been seen easily when there is a total eclipse in which it glows a red color.

Corona

The suns outer atmosphere is called the Corona it is visible when there is a total eclipse. The corona displays a lot of features in which change from eclipse to eclipse

Sunspots

Sunspots are dark spots on the surface of the sun that are cooler than the other parts of the sun. Sunspots are formed by interactions in the suns magnetic field which are not fully understood.

Prominence

A prominence is a arc of gas that erupts from the surface of the sun.Prominences can erupt hundreds of thousands of miles into space

A solar flare occurs when magnetic energy that has built up in the solar atmosphere i suddenly released.

Aurora

a radiant emission from the upperatmosphere that occurs sporadically over the middle and highlatitudes of both hemispheres in the form of luminous bands,streamers, or the like, caused by the bombardment of theatmosphere with charged solar particles that are being guided alongthe earth's magnetic lines of force.
