burroughs are Manhattan,Quenns,The Bronx,Brooklyn and ,Staten Island.

The capital of the state is Albany. the biggest city is new york city. The population of the state is 19,746,227. The population of New York City is 8,175,133. The famous rivers are the Hudson river, St.Lawrence river and East River. Lake Erie is a famous lake in New York.

The main from of transportation in New York City is the subway. New York has the largest in North America. There are 8,000 taxies in the city serving apoximicly 241 million people each year.
