"Congratulations to Tracy for being March's Employee of the Month! Tracy is a helping hand in both the Hickory and Hawthorn classrooms. She graces each with her happy-go-lucky spirit everyday and it leaves a lasting impression in the classroom environment, even when she's not there! The kiddos feed off of her child-like energy and find comfort in her nurturing ability, especially when she can be a familiar face during tough transitions. Her hard-work, reliability, and constant smile are just a few reasons her co-workers love her:). We appreciate all you do, Tracy!"

"Shout out to Ms Bianey! For always having my back and keeping me on track. Our room wouldn't be the same without you :). I couldn't ask for a better co-teacher :)! You're the best!"

Developing Core Values

As Little Green Tree House grows, we want to establish Core Values that will help translate who we are as a company.

What are core values?

  • ›Traits or qualities that represent our priorities and beliefs
  • ›Essentially, who we are and what we stand for

We believe our Core Values should be developed by the team that lives them daily, you! Please take some time to consider what you believe our Core Values are here at Little Green Tree House. There will be a basket in the staff lounge where you can add your contributions, as we build our company's vision together! Please submit any ideas by Friday, March 20th.

Take a moment to watch the video clip below, which explains Core Values in more detail.

Our Mission Statement

We offer an eco-friendly child care center; the first in the Chicagoland area which promotes a message of positive worldly consciousness and modern learning. Our professional teachers coupled with an eco-friendly environment facilitate the optimal growth and development of the whole child. Each child’s potential will be nurtured to build a strong foundation for their future as well as the future of our world. Building healthy relationships with each other and our world is emphasized. Each child will be given the opportunity to grow and learn efficiently and build a strong foundation for their future.
