From all of us at Hendrickson, hoping that you and your family made it through the great ice storm of 2023. I know some staff and families are still without power, while others had trees that damaged their property. Hang in there and let us know how our staff or students can help. Shout out to Coach Pearce who had the football team on call today to help people clean up. It looks like many of Central Texas' beautiful trees will not survive. It was a super eerie sound to hear all of the trees snapping the last few days. We are hoping that school on Monday can help us all return to normal. Please let us know if you need anything.

The class of 2023 is bringing back the Mr. HHS contest, but we are rebranding and it will now be called Hendrickson’s Next Top Hawk!

Senior Hawks will compete in this contest to represent their club or organization. Come out on Feb. 10th at the HHS PAC to see who embody that Top Hawk ENERGY and see who will be crowned Hendrickson’s Next Top Hawk. Due to the weather Pre-Sale Tickets will start back up on Monday Feb 6th and run through Feb 9th for $5 before school and during the lunches in the HHS Café. Tickets at the door will be $7. Students and parents are invited to this fundraiser event.

The Silver Dancer Spring Show will be April 28th and 29th this year and we give out programs to everyone who attends! Our programs are a great way to advertise and market to our community. If you have any family or friends that would like to promote their business, please consider sharing this information with them. If you are a club sponsor or lead an organization on campus, putting an ad into our program is a great recruiting tool! All ad submission details and prices are included in this form. The deadline for filling out the form and submitting ads is March 6th.

Our nationally recognized band program is hosting a night of music and festivity on February 4th with the Main Street Music Festival @ HHS!

Entry to event is FREE, but one of our fundraisers will be the dinner, $20/person, being catered by our very own Baris Pasta & Pizza. If you DO want to participate in the dinner fundraiser, you must pre-register! You can then pay ahead of time using the venmo link in the Google form (use the QR code on the flyer, copy and open a new page), OR you can pay at the door.

Other activities will include performances by Hendrickson Jazz Ensembles, Kelly Lane Jazz Ensemble, and concert performances by HHS and KLMS, as well as a silent auction with great prizes donated by local businesses, raffles, and fun activities for the younger kids. All to highlight and support the amazing musicians we have right here in our community and neighborhoods!
