Bio-Med Tech-Girls is going online!
The 7th annual Bio-Med Tech-Girls is a collaboration with the UVA Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), St. Anne's-Belfield School and Charlottesville Women in Tech. This week will be filled with guest speakers, hands-on activities and a design challenge focused on the Go Viral Project being developed by Dr. Jeff Saucerman and Dr. Shayn Peirce-Cottler from UVA BME.
- When: August 3 -7
- Who: You women who are rising 9th through 12th graders
- Cost: FREE
Summer SPARK is going online!
We are very excited to be offering this virtual learning experience to
anyone, anywhere, free of charge!
We will be using a connected learning model, which is all about empowering learners to pursue their interest and passion with the support of peers, mentors and facilitators. The learning experiences will happen over three weeks with three different themes. You can sign-up for one or for all. Each week, we’ll explore the theme through interactive challenges, video tutorials, lunch & learns, and learning from experts in the field. There will be synchronous (in person video conferencing) and asynchronous (do at your own pace) activities. We will wrap up the week with a Demo Party to share all the awesome creating from the week!"

Summer Camps at Virginia Discovery Museum
Virginia Discovery Museum offers week-long, half-day summer camps for children 4 and older provides opportunities for kids to gain confidence, make friends, and explore a range of STEAM-focused topics through creative and engaging hands-on experiences.

KidsCollege@PVCC is going online!
KidsCollege@PVCC is now offering classes from Pre-K through 9th graders from the comfort and safety of your home. Over 200 classes from June 1 - August 28, 2020. New parent-child classes as well as STEM, art, fitness, and career exploration classes.

The Circle Project

STEAM Discovery Academy
STEAM Discovery Academy inspires your student’s passion for the STEAM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) by immersing them in interactive activities, challenges, and projects targeted for a range of grade levels in a safe and supportive environment.

SAM’S Camp for Applied Engineering is going online!
- When: July 15 - August 14 (weekly)
- Who: Rising 4th through 9th grade
- Cost: $40/kit or 3 kits for $100
Summer Camp at Peabody School is going virtual!
At Camp Invention, students are presented with fun, hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship and innovation. New virtual format can be screen-free and self-led, or it can be enhanced through online collaboration sessions with Coaches and fellow participants.

Peabody Pi Camp is for students interested in learning about robotics, coding, and circuitry.
- When: July 6 – 10 or July 13 - 17
- Who: Rising 5th through 9th grade

Light House Studio Summer Film Academy is going online!
Light House Studio offers a wide variety of summer workshops including documentary, narrative, music video, animation, and visual effects.
- When: June 1 - August 21 (weekly)
- Who: Rising 3rd graders through college freshmen
- Cost: $75-$700
iD Tech Camp at UVA is postponed until 2021
