Bio-Med Tech-Girls
Bio-Med Tech-Girls is back for its 9th year! The program is brought to you by Charlottesville Women in Tech and Tech-Girls in collaboration with the School of Education and Human Development and department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia. The week will be filled with guest speakers, lab tours, hands-on activities, and design challenges!
Who: 9th grade & up; identify as female or nonbinary

Camp Invention at Peabody School
Team up with friends for fun, hands-on STEM adventures, from adopting a robotic fish to
exploring space to building robotic artists and marble arcades!

CoderDojo
CoderDojo is a summer coding academy that provides elementary students from Albemarle County Public Schools with opportunities for creativity, innovation, and fun.
Who: K-5
When: 1-4pm July 11-14 or 18-21

Eureka Workshop Classes
Eureka Workshop offers computer science experiences that combine the problem-solving skills of the visual arts and coding.
Who: 3rd-5th; 6th-8th

Girls Make Games Virtual Summer Camp
Learn how to design and program your own video game in just 3 weeks. The camp features live, guided instruction, community building and a chance to meet industry role models.
Who:
- Ages 8-12 (GMG Jr.)

Girls Who Code Summer Programs
The Summer Immersion Program is a live 2-week intro to computer science course for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. The Self-Paced Program is a 6-week flexible computer science course for 9th-12th students.

- 9th-12th grade (Self-Paced Program)
When:
- June 17 - July 1; July 11 - July 22; August 1 - August 12 (Summer Immersion Program)

iD Tech Camp at UVA
Our summer programs strike the perfect balance between STEM skill development and summer fun, allowing students to explore tech interests in a fun yet challenging setting.
Who: Age groups 7-9, 10-12 and 13-17

Ix Art Park Summer Camps
Summer Camp returns to the Ix Art Park with three options - Art & Nature Camp, Creature Builder Collective and Stop Mo Series.
Who:
- 3 to 5 year olds (Art & Nature Camp)
- 6 to 9 year olds (Creature Builder Collective)
- 10 to 13 year olds (Stop Mo Series)

KidsCollege@PVCC Summer Academies
KidsCollege@PVCC offers project-based exploration into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and arts areas.
Who: Rising 1st-12th graders

Light House Studio offers a wide variety of summer workshops including stop motion, narrative, comedy, documentary, music video, and visual effects. A virtual option will be provided if three or more students request online participation.

STEAM Discovery Academy
STEAM Discovery Academy provides unique opportunities for students to experience science while encouraging them to learn how the universe works and to be creative, while developing innovative solutions.

Summer Camps at Virginia Discovery Museum
Virginia Discovery Museum offers week-long, half-day summer camps for children 4 and older provides opportunities for kids to gain confidence, make friends, and explore a range of STEAM-focused topics through creative and engaging hands-on experiences.
Who: 4-8 years old
When: June 13 - July 29 (weekly)

UVA Brain Camp
UVA Brain Camp is a free day camp that aims to give highly motivated middle school students a fun hands-on experience and training in some of the most fundamental aspects of neuroscience.
Who: rising 6th through 9th grade who identify as members of underrepresented communities or are otherwise unable to afford traditional STEM camps
