Grateful Heart
I am grateful for....
....Jeanette, who organized our learning and provided valuable work and coaching time Wednesday-Friday so that your time and interests were honored.....Allyson, Michael, Will, Terri, Leigh, Christina and Cindy for sharing their learning during our time together.
....Carrie Lee, for taking on two new team members and having a terrific attitude about it!
....Lydia and Dena, who spent lots of time last week doing very "unfun" work helping prepare papers for the first day of school.

Please try to take a look at this before we meet together next week if at all possible!!
Traffic change
The understanding that we have is that we have to have enough volunteers to help with this in order for it to work because we don't have additional personnel. If volunteers don't sign up, or we run into other difficulties, we'll be reverting back to a single drop-off. This is just an FYI!
Making our Work Visible- a Reminder!
I want to ask you to step back from your role and think about what it's like to not have information. Like sending your spouse to the doctor with your child and asking what the doctor said...you don't typically get all the information you feel like you need, but you have limited access to the doctor or nurse and so you want to pound your head when your spouse says, "Oh, I forgot to ask that!"
As you begin to think about this year, consider using some of the sources we've learned about for opening up your classroom to parents on a regular basis. One of the best tools I've heard about is the Class Dojo option for students to post pictures and write about their learning. Seesaw is another viable option
