Nick Biever for U.S. Congress
I would advocate for as limited involvement in foreign affairs as would be seen reasonable. I believe we should solve problems in our own country before we spend money trying to solve problems away from home. I support a free market, and would almost describe myself as libertarian in the sense that I'm in favor of a laissez-faire system of capitalism. I typically lean right when it comes to social issues. I believe our education system needs reformed. I favor a strong military.
The three issues I would give highest priority to would be education, defense, and welfare reform. I would put myself on committees that put me in the best position to change these issues.
In order to maximize communication with constituents while at the same time acknowledging that one person can only do so much, I would use a system where my staff would review complaints, and the most prevalent would be read by myself.
I would ideally have a background with public relations and/or politics.
