Doñana's Park
In Doñana you can find a big number of mammals, rodents, amphibians, reptiles and fish species, along with about 750 plant species and a lot of moths, dragonflies and butterflies.
One of the most important things in Doñana are the aviaries (Pajareras) because millions of wintering birds are attracted by the mild climate and the abundant food supply. The region is also on a major migratory route for birds travelling from and to north and west Africa during the spring and autumn migration periods. The zone is also important as a breeding ground for some of the most endangered birds species of Europe, such as Spanish Imperial Eagles.
The full list of bird species that have been recorded in the area is now over 360.
