Current 4th Grade Parent Meeting
4th-5th grade transition meeting will be held on February 5th at 6:30pm at Zionsville Middle School in Eagle Hall. This meeting will be for parents of current 4th grade students attending ZMS in the 2019-2020 school year.
ZMS Permission Slips
Just a reminder that the permission slip for tomorrow's field trip is on a cherry pink paper and needs to be turned in tomorrow morning. I am still missing permission slips from 8 students. I touched base with all of the kids this morning and made sure everyone had one that needed to be signed tonight. I would love for everyone to go, but if I don't have permission from you, they won't be able to attend. Thank you.
ZMS
We will be going to the middle school tomorrow. I will also be sending home two purple papers to be completed at home and returned by February 22. One is for your child's music course selection for 5th grade. Your child will choose either band, choir, or orchestra as their music class. The other paper is an optional student informational form which allows you to answer questions and share information about your child.
Postcards
Our class is participating in a postcard exchange with classes in other states. We have already received a few from other states! It's so exciting to get real mail! If you are out and about and see postcards affiliated with Indiana, we would love it if you could purchase a few for the exchange. We would like to complete our part of the exchange by the end of the month. Thanks in advance for your help!
Valentine's Day
Please remember to send in $1.
We look forward to celebrating Valentine's Day with our students at their classroom parties on Thursday, February 14th. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to emphasize the lifeskill of friendship with all of our students. As you are out shopping for Valentines, please select cards and/or trinkets that are inedible. This could include pencils, erasers, stickers, etc. Candy will not be distributed. Thank you for ensuring that all students can have a safe and fun celebration. I will send home a class list tomorrow. We have 24 students in our classroom.
