Wild Rose Elementary

April 9, 2021

A note from Mrs. Solomon

We are back after spring break and into the swing of things! The turn in the weather has been uplifting for all, minus the cold rain, but we have gotten some really beautiful days and we are outside every opportunity we have. We are also using the playground equipment, which has been an added bonus to our outdoor activities. Third and fifth grade have begun their IAR assessments and are doing great, fourth grade will begin next week. Lots of new information in this week's newsletter!

Wild Rose Learning Center Dedication

I am honored to share that on Wednesday, May 19th we will celebrate the work, career and dedication of Dr. Robert Allison. We will be dedicating the Wild Rose LRC to Dr. Allison. We have already begun to transform the outside of the LRC to celebrate Wild Rose with a mural painted by D303 art teachers Lauren Kruse and Rebecca Hubs. We will be hosting this dedication outside at the front of the building. We can begin to gather at 5:30 pm and the dedication ceremony will take place at approximately 6:00 pm. We hope you will come join us in this celebration. Others outside of the Wild Rose Community will also be invited as Dr. Allison participated in many positions across the district during his time in D303.

Wild Rose PTO

We continue to look for individuals to be a part of next year's PTO board. You don't have to do it alone! You can also team up with a partner to take on a role. Our school need YOU! Please reach out if this is of interest.

Look to see what is happening with the PTO: April PTO Newsletter

For the 2021-2022 school year, the PTO is looking to recruit and inspire different leadership. If you are interested we would love to have you, please reach out to Jen Watanapongse @ Wildroseptopresident@gmail.com to share your interest.
