Happy New Year!
I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. It was so nice to see our students on Tuesday. They were smiling, well rested, and had lots of stories to share! It didn’t take long to get back into the rhythm of things - our students are already learning and growing in these 3 short days.
Our teachers started their learning on Monday. We were able to focus on many topics throughout the day and had great conversations about how to best support all students. One of the many wonderful things about our two week break is that it allowed staff members to step back, focus on family, and then come back ready to move forward again. Monday’s learning was a good opportunity to come together and “reset” as a staff. It also made us anxious to have our students join us on Tuesday. It’s been a great start to 2020!
