Valley Fire - Our Response
We have enterprising students who will continue to work on outreach and collection in the coming weeks. The need will be enormous and I am so proud of our students and community for recognizing the need to keep the attention shining on Lake County.
Thank you everyone!

The Club Remains at PHS!
The Battle for the Club at Ellison Field was decided early on a beautiful Friday evening at Ellison Field. The Trojans jumped out to an early 7-0 lead on the second play from scrimmage as Brendan White scampered through the Santa Rosa defense. From there, the Trojans dominated, leading to an eventual 39-13 win.
The win evens their record at 2-2 as they head into the league portion of the season. This week, we host Sonoma to open league play, then head to Piner the following week, before returning home for Homecoming v. Healdsburg.
In volleyball, the girls had a strong win at home vs. Sonoma. Girls Varsity soccer also had a solid home win versus Sonoma, and Girl's Golf took down Piner at Bodega Links. Boy's Soccer is off to a 7-1-1 start, 1-1 in league.

Kim Arntz Honored with State Nomination!
Congratulations to Kim Arntz, our inspired FFA leader. She has been nominated for an Honorary American FFA Degree by the State FFA Association. Nominees are traditionally recognized for creating and sustaining high-quality agricultural education programs which inspire and motivate their students to strive for success.
We can point to many reasons why, including a recent grant she successfully wrote, her 15+ years of service to Petaluma FFA, three State Champion Dairy Judging teams, and one National Champion team. And she's just plain awesome too! Way to go, Kim!
