This and That
Thank you to all teachers who presented on our staff development day! It was a great day of learning for all, and I appreciate your leadership, participation, and feedback.
The Memorial Service for Cindy Elbrecht's father is January 7th at 2:30 pm at First English Lutheran Church in Austin. Our thoughts are with Cindy and her family during this difficult time.
Staff Meeting on Monday, 3:15 in the library.
All staff members need to complete the playground supervision online course. This course is found in the HCP.
We are working on a recess schedule that would include an extra five minutes as we talked about in our faculty meeting. You will get a draft of this schedule by Wednesday of next week.
There have been several recent rat sightings around campus. PLEASE do everything you can to keep your classrooms and areas clean and free of anything that might attract them. Do not leave food/drinks in your classrooms overnight and/or over the weekend.

ISIP Testing Window MOY
The window will open for i station MOY testing on the 9th of January and closes on the 27th. Just a heads up so you can prepare students beforehand if a review is needed. If you would like to set up a time to test in the lab please contact James. Thanks!
Science Fair Week is coming the week of January 23rd
The Science Fair is on Jan. 25th, but please note that projects are due to teachers on Tuesday, Jan. 17th. Judging will take place at 8AM on Wednesday, January 25th. Once all of the judging is complete and awards distributed, we will open the Doss Gym to the public from 6-7:30PM. Parents, family, and friends of our Owls are invited to come celebrate all of the students' hard work.
Computer Lab News
The computer lab will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for Benchmark testing. Additionally,The Chromebook cart will not be available for checkout Tuesday through Friday to support Benchmark testing.
You can use your regular computer lab time for the Istation/ISIP Assessment. The ISIP Assessment window for K - 3rd is January 9-27. You can also reserve the cart with a class set of Chromebooks for a half day or full day to test in your room. Talk to James to reserve the cart or go directly to the google sheet below to reserve it yourself.
