Dear Trade and Industrial Educators, Supporters, and Change Makers,
As the vibrant colors of fall surround us, the VATIE board extends warm greetings to you. I am sure, like me, your school year is flying by. Before we get too busy with the end-of-the-year parties, I wish everyone a wonderful festive season. If you attended the 2023 VATIE conference, we thank you for helping us make it a huge success. Our generous sponsors and presenters were vital in creating an extremely successful conference. A huge thank you to all who support VATIE and continue to help 'Bridge the Gap' between the business and industry and our classrooms.
We are excited to announce that our 2024 VATIE conference will be held from July 17-19, 2024, at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel, Norfolk, VA. The VATIE board and our lead teachers are working diligently to prepare a robust conference experience for you. Stay tuned for more information regarding the extended classes before and after the conference. We will share the information soon. Please make sure you save the date for the 2024 VATIE Conference. We collected an overwhelming number of positive responses to our 2023 end-of-conference survey and are confident we can do better. We have chosen the location strategically so that you have an opportunity to enjoy the proximity to the ocean during the hot summer months. We hope you will take advantage of the same low hotel rates the weekend before and the weekend after the conference to enjoy with your family.
Your input and involvement matter and are crucial to the success of the VATIE. Please consider showing your support by telling a T&I stakeholder about VATIE, encouraging a business partner to participate, and nominating an outstanding Trade and Industrial Educator or Administrator, and coming to the conference.
