Early life

Edgar A. Poe was Born in Boston on January 19, 1809.

He was the middle child, his brother named William and his sister named Rosalie

Both of his parents died within three years after his birth

In result he was taken in by a wealthy tobacco

merchant named John Allen and his wife Frances Valentine Allen.

His brother and sister were taken in by other families.

John Allen wanted him to follow in his footsteps but Poe had dreams of being a poet.
