A Message From Mrs. Burko

Good Morning!


Welcome to the start of the second quarter. With this new beginning, continue to encourage your student(s) to attend class, complete their assignments, attend Study Hall or Office Hours when requested and reach out to teachers for help when it's needed.


Information about report card pick up will be shared as soon as possible.


To end the month of October, Student Council has planned Spirit Week for students and staff. Today, is "Location Change". We are looking forward to seeing everyone participate.

District Benchmarks

This week begins district benchmarks. Benchmarks will take place on Wednesdays over the next few weeks. 6th, 7th and 8th grade students will have benchmarks in ELA and Math. 8th grade will also take a Science benchmark. Please remind you student to complete their assigned benchmark by 11 on the assigned day. We will be making phone calls in the afternoon for students who have not started or completed their benchmarks. The schedule is below:


Wednesday, October 28th: ELA Benchmark through Study Sync

Wednesday, November 4th: Math Benchmark through SchoolNet

Wednesday, November 18th: Science Benchmark though SchoolNet

Ms. Motta is offering tutoring session this Monday and Tuesday from 2:30-3:30 for 7th and 8th grade students. Email her if you are interested.
