Spring Marching Band Practice Schedule
MARCHING BAND WINDS: Tuesdays 3-5, Wednesdays 3-5, Thursdays 3-5
GUARD: Mondays 5-7:30, Tuesdays 5-7:30, Thursdays 3-5
PERCUSSION: Tuesdays 3-5, Thursdays 3-5, Fridays 3-5

Meet our Band Captain
Congrats to Emma for being chosen by her peers for this important leadership position. Her strong work ethic and genuine caring for her fellow bandmates make her perfect for the job!
Band statements were sent out this past weekend. Please take a minute to look them over. Questions about fundraiser credits should first be addressed by the fundraiser chair. Contact the treasurers if you have additional questions or if you did not receive a statement in your email.
Invoices for Spring Marching Band & Guard will be applied to accounts once we have a finalized roster. Look for an updated statement to be emailed mid-February. Statements will be emailed monthly now that there is account activity to report. Here is the payment information for this spring's fair share:
FEES FOR SPRING MARCHING BAND AND COLOR GUARD
$100 - registration fee - already paid during MB registration or due ASAP
$175 - due by 3/1
$175 - due by 4/1
10% discount if paid in full by 3/1 and account is in good standing. (This discount includes those who have credits on their account). FOR THIS SPECIAL SEASON ONLY! Siblings get 50% discount.
Many of you may have questions about credits/refunds on your accounts. Please know that the Treasurers and the rest of the Band Booster Board will be discussing this at the next Board Meeting. We will have more information for you in early March. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

If you did not previously register for Marching Band in the fall, we will be contacting you individually as we need a bit more information from you.

Marching Band Chaperones Needed
If you would like to chaperone, please be sure to email Mr. Coats in the Athens Drive office at firstname.lastname@example.org to update your WCPSS volunteer registration (school entry not required). Once you are registered, you can sign up to chaperone an after school practice here:
Please register and sign up! Chaperoning is a fun way to meet the kids and be part of our band program.

While some of you shared your VIC card with the boosters in the fall for a "mass link", there are many who may have joined since or have chosen to link it yourself. Would you please check your VIC account and make sure that you have an active link to 2153 - Athens Drive High School Band Boosters ? You can also help our band program by inviting family and friends to include the Athens Drive Band Booster link on their VIC card. And don't forget, your charity choice must be re-linked EVERY school year (starting August 1) to continue participating in the Together in Education program!
