Making History: Students Sign Beam to be Installed in New Building

What an exciting day at the elementary! Students and staff got a chance to make their mark by signing one of the beams that will be installed in the new building. We're excited to see the progress and being able to participate in this special way!

It is Week #25 of Construction!

This week's New Elementary construction update is available on the "New Elementary Building" webpage with details and more great photos. CLICK HERE.

Annual Golf Scramble Supports Student Scholarships

Each year the Elida Educational Foundation Golf Scramble is a fun way to raise funds for student scholarships. Thank you to those teams and sponsors who helped us raise over $3,500 at the outing held Sunday, Sept. 13! We can't do it without you. Congratulations to the winning team: Ryan Howard, Tony Moore, Matt Metzger & Jim Sherrick: 16 UNDER!
Big picture

Max visits the Middle School!

We are always happy when Max comes to visit each week! Max is a beautiful, nine year old Golden Doodle therapy dog who comes with his owner, Helen Bibler. Helen has been bringing her therapy dogs to Elida for several years and Max has lots of experience, being in service for 8 years. 6th graders Memphis Hager and Logan Kesler enjoyed seeing him this morning, and Mr. Bucher, too!

Thanks to Helen and Max for getting the day off to a great start!!

Students Enjoy a Cool Treat Reward

It was a great day for a treat! Elementary students who did not receive any office referrals and showed STAR behavior were rewarded with a Kona Ice slushie today! Congratulations to the students for their terrific behavior.

GO DAWGS! #BeatCelina

Tonight the Dawgs take on Celina! You can catch the game live on 1150-WIMA Radio and watch a tape-delay on WTLW-TV tonight at 11:00 pm.

Bulldawg Jam Tonight at 6:00 in the Fieldhouse

The Marching Band traditional "Bulldawg Jam" will take place before the varsity football home games in the Fieldhouse as long as safety precautions are adhered to so that we can continue to have these events in the future:

  • Wear a Mask
  • Socially distance your group from others.
  • When the Jam is over, please exit the facility.

Good News Reminder: Free Meals for ALL On-site Students!

ALL STUDENTS who are attending on-site are eligible for FREE MEALS through the end of the calendar year or until USDA funding runs out. Breakfast and lunch! This does not include ala carte or extra items - those items must still be paid for.

PARENT REMINDER: Sign-Up for Schoology

Schoology is the platform used for students AND PARENTS to communicate with teachers, access lessons and assignments, to receive messages from the principals and the district and for viewing grades and weekly reports. Students have accounts, and parents need to set-up separate accounts, as well. Get detailed information and how to create your parent account at this LINK to the school website.

DARE Officer Ted Visits 5th graders

We love when the DARE Officers come to the middle school! Officer Ted came on Thursday with a program for the students discussing responsibility, decisions, communication, handling stress, bullying, responding to pressure and making good choices! Covering alot of material to help keep our Elida Bulldogs safe and healthy!
