How African Music Inspired American Music
It has influenced many american types of music such jazz, rock and roll, blues, and gospel. It's culture inspired so many people that it moved artists to create new types of music in the U.S. I think you can hear the African culture mostly in jazz because you can hear the beat very clearly in both jazz and African music.
