CAST STEM Principal's Weekly Update

October 22, 2021

CAST STEM families,

Our scholars are persistent, innovative and hard working. Congratulations, you have reached the end of the first 9 weeks grading period. We are very proud of you!

I spoke with every student on campus today about our responsibilities as good citizens. We talked about our commitment to taking care of ourselves, our classmates, and our campus. We expect students to rise to meet our expectations and to grow to know their own strengths. As a CAST STEM family, we use our strengths to grow, support our team and support our dreams.

We have a CAST STEM pup friend named Liz. Liz is in training and comes to campus to learn how to be around students and our fun noise while learning to support the Edmonds family. She is pictured at right.

Have a great weekend!

In gratitude,

Ravae V. Shaeffer

Do you need a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) Form for your driver's permit?

VOE is a form that you submit to the DPS when you are applying for a learner's permit or license. It is signed by your school administrator to verify that you are enrolled in school, attending 90% of classes in the semester prior to your application, and that you have been awarded credit for each class you took in the semester prior to applying for your license. If you need to obtain this form, please download and complete the following form and drop it off at CAST STEM. Please be sure to drop it off 24 hours in advance of when you need it. Mrs. Shaeffer will verify your attendance and credits before signing the VOE.
