Here's the question: Who is a newcomer?

Maybe you have been coming to The Church@Grace Life for years but still have things you don't "get" or questions that you haven't had a chance to ask. Or maybe you have only been to our church a few times and you aren't even sure what to ask. If you find yourself in either one of these positions or anywhere in between and would like the opportunity to find out more, come to the Newcomer's Dinner this Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

This is a free dinner prepared for you by our one of our best chefs and it comes with the opportunity to hear about where Grace Life came from, why we do some of the things we do, why we don't do some of the things that you don't see, what things there are going on during the week, our discipleship opportunities and much more.

We are looking forward to this chance to share with you, get to know each of you a little better and hopefully have some of you get to know each other better as the evening goes on.

If you are planning to come, please go to the evite at:

and let us know so that we can be sure to prepare enough food.

And THEN……..

Bring in your favorite/best pot of chili to enter in the 2014 annual Chili Cook-off. Each year, we all enter the contest, pick a winner and then eat the chili for lunch. Since this is also a fund raiser for the teens, we will have "voting bowls" at each pot. Samples of each pot will be available and you get to vote on your favorite with your dollars. You can vote as many times and for as many pots as you want at the cost of $1 per vote. We will be selling vote "tickets" at $1 each, so you can bring cash or write a check to receive tickets to use for your votes.

The teens will be providing baked potatoes, salad, condiments, drinks and desserts. So whether you want to donate some for the meal or vote for your favorite chili (or both), it is going to be a wonderful time of fun, food, and competition mixed with tons of love that helps out a great cause.
