An Interview with Mrs. Dalton

Get To Know Mrs. Dalton
Mrs. Dalton has a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M University. She is also pursing her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Instructional Technology and Design with Principal's Certification at Tarleton State University. She has taught for 10 years and is currently teaching at Richland High School and it's her third year teaching there. Mrs. Dalton is a former graduate of Richland High School. Last year, Mrs. Dalton taught Algebra two for the Juniors, but moved down to teaching freshmen's with Algebra one this year.
Mrs. Dalton puts in at least 60-70 hours a week not including at home and the weekends. Being a teacher involves lots of self-motivation, out of one to ten, with ten being the highest Mrs. Dalton said 8 should be required to self motivate your self. " Having students come back and tell you what a difference you have made in their life's. Also, getting to see and hear what students have gone on to accomplished in college and career." is what she thinks is the biggest reward from teaching. Her high school experience and Calculus and Physics teachers inspired her to be a teacher. Mrs. Dalton received Teacher of the Year last school year she was blessed to be awarded such an award.

Mrs. Dalton goes over this at the beginning of class to let the students know what is happening that week.
Smart Board
This how she teaches the classes a lesson so that everyone can see it at one time. A smart board lets students come up to the board and work out examples using new and advanced technology.
