Reformers of the 19th Century
By Juan Garcia Olivarez
Mental Health/ Prison Reform
Mentally challenged inmates should be separated from the sane inmates.
They can revive help from doctors to be cured or at least treated for there health
Dorthea Dix wanted to make this happen which she did. By her death there were 100 facilities open.
Was the reform to start making laws about children going to school. Before this reform children had the option to go to school. When this starts the children are now starting to be required to go. So that Americas future generation can be a smart one.
This reform was about women being able to do the same amount of work. But many women would not get paid the same as men. Women finally stand up but it took a while to get there rights.
