MAKING JESUS REAL - PRE PRIMARY
Making Jesus Real (MJR) is alive in Pre Primary as we strive to show love and kindness every day. We reflect on the Good News stories of the day when we see the Spirit of Jesus in each other. The children have initiated being earth warriors in the playground by collecting rubbish and pulling weeds. By recognising these special MJR moments others have been motivated to work as a team taking responsibility for caring for the living things in our playground.

HOLY ROSARY COMMUNITY NEWS
WHAT A TERM!
It’s been a notable term with many highlights: Year 5 Night of the Notables and Year 4 making their first Holy Communion. We’ve celebrated St Dominic’s Day, Father’s Day and Book Week and we’ve participated in Interschool Cross-Country, Athletics Carnival, the Lapathon and Disco.
The school is looking lighter and brighter after the classroom and hall refurbishments and we’re preparing for the building of the $3.4m Siena Centre and Administration block. Holy Rosary released its Strategic Plan, which has a clear vision on where to take the school, along with concrete steps to get us there.
Enjoy the break and see you for Term 4 on Monday, 14 October in Summer uniform!
** SOCCER CLINIC – TERM 4 **
A heads up to parents that the after school soccer clinic run by TFC (The Football Centre) is set to return to Holy Rosary is Term 4.
More details (including how to sign up) will be provided early in Term 4. At this stage it is looking to be Monday’s straight after school (as per Term 1 and 2).
HELP TO SHAPE THEIR JOURNEY JOIN P&F 2020!
If you have young children at Holy Rosary, the P&F is an excellent way of being part of and shaping their primary school journey.
We thank Jean Williams for her work as P&F Secretary and Bec Watson as Siena Rep. Join Jean and Bec on the 2020 Committee! The P&F will have more of a planning and coordinating focus next year, with the running of events being shared across the year groups (as now happens in many other schools).
Please consider nominating for the Committee - no previous P&F experience required!

Remember to say: “That’s for Holy Rosary” every time you purchase from Bakers Delight Woodlands. They give back 10% of all our purchases for the year!
