CCSD Students Celebrate the Holiday Season before Winter Break
Winter Wonderland by CCHS Choir
CCHS Sewage Back Up Cleared
The sewage backup at Crook County High School last week is cleaned up, and classrooms are again ready for students and staff. Our amazing facilities crew thoroughly sanitized and disinfected all affected classrooms. Thankfully, no damage occurred, and no raw sewage was found in any part of the building. It was mostly gray water with a foul smell.
Roto-Rooter was called to help clear pipes and push the blockage to the city's main sewer lines. Additional cleaning of the system is also planned.

New Pioneer High School Opens to Students & Staff
Pioneer High School students and staff moved into their new building this month. It's located right next to Crook County High School on Lynn Blvd. Six new classrooms include Career & Technical Education space and a GED Testing Center. There's a common area in the middle, a health room, a kitchen, and office space for counselors and administrators.
This new campus will provide more collaboration with CCHS and provide Pioneer students access to additional educational resources and a school to call their own. The school district plans to hold a ribbon cutting and open house sometime in January.
Wrestler McKenna Duran Places 3rd in Reno
