UNITY DAY
On Wednesday, October 20th, we will celebrate Unity Day. Unity Day is observed to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying. To help celebrate, have your student wear orange on this day or purchase a #OneBryan Unity t-shirt This unique tie-dye design includes logos from both Bryan County and Richmond Hill as well as their school colors-the red from north Bryan and gold from south Bryan combine to form orange, the color used to represent unity. Each shirt is $20 (extended sizes a bit more), and all proceeds benefit the United Way campaign for our school.
To order this shirt, go to MyPaymentsPlus and click on RHHS-you should see the shirt there. When you choose where to pickup your shirt, that site will get credit for the United Way donation.

Accuplacer at RHHS
The Accuplacer exam will be administered at RHHS on Tuesday 10/19 and 10/20. Tuesday’s administration is designated for those wishing to attend Savannah Technical College as a dual enrollment or traditional student. Wednesday’s administration is designated for those wishing to attend Georgia Southern University as a dual enrollment student. If you are interested in testing on those days, please sign up for the specific school that you intend on pursuing. Please note that if testing for dual enrollment at GSU, you must have your DE application submitted to GSU by 10/14 in order to receive an Eagle ID to test. Both institutions also offer testing on their campuses, and you should contact their testing centers to make an appointment if you’re unable to test on the designated days at RHHS.
FAFSA Workshop
Please join us on Wednesday, October 27th from 5:30-7:00 for our Financial Aid Workshop which will be held in the Media Center. Mrs. Carol Lott from the GA Student Finance Commission will be here to walk you step-by-step through the FAFSA. Please bring your student, their Chromebook or registered device, your 2020 income tax returns, and W-2 Forms! You will need these items as Ms. Lott works with you to complete the FAFSA. It is critical that your child attends, in order to set up an FSA ID. This is the first step in completing the FAFSA. It is very important that they bring their registered devices in order to work from our Wi-Fi. See you then!
