Are You a Sherman Alexie fan?
Watch the film "The Business of Fancydancing" with UWF!
On March 23rd at 6pm, the UWF English department and the UWF Native American Studies Club will host a viewing party for the Sherman Alexie film "The Business of Fancydancing." Admission is free but all donations will go towards the American Indian College Fund and the event will take place in building 36, room 191.
"The Business of Fancydancing" is about a gay Native American writer named Seymour who must go back to his reservation after 20 years and attend the funeral of a childhood friend. Seymour faces the wrath of Aristotle, a childhood friend, who is envious of Seymour's success. It is a race against time to fix the past before it is too late.
All english teachers are offering extra credit but there will also be free pizza, drinks, and fun! Bring your friends for a good time and a great film!
