Wednesday June 5, 2019
This is such a bittersweet time of year! We have so many celebrations and yet we bring this school year to an end. What a mixture of emotions!
Please know that all successes--small or large--are important to us. Please know that the end of school is filled with special moments and special memories. The closure of elementary school for the summer is filled with those moments that only the young of heart love. Time flies and before you know it your child is in middle school and no longer enjoys those small moments with teachers and parents. Definitely enjoy these while you can!
From my heart I share with you that I truly appreciate your trust in sharing your children with us. Together, we support and grow our children. It is this Midway family that keeps me smiling!! You are the awesome! Your children are awesome! And, I am surrounded by an awesome staff and community!! It takes the village, and the Midway village rocks at loving, caring, and growing our students!! Thank you all so much!
I hope you have a blessed summer filled with family, fun, great books with your children, and family exercise routines! Travel safely!
Yours truly,
Jan Fickling, Principal
