Kirk Fenton News
10th May 2019
Dear Parents / Carers,
We have had an unusually quiet week in school this week with no trips or sporting events but this has allowed us to take stock of how far we have come this year and prepare for the weeks of testing and assessment to come in several classes. Over the next few weeks Year 6 will be sitting their statutory assessments along with Year 2, Year 4 will be taking the multiplication tables tests and Year 1 will be sitting the Phonics screening tests. The Reception children will be assessed on their readiness for the primary curriculum to come. Our teachers have worked incredibly hard to prepare our pupils and our children have worked hard to be at their best. Let's keep them all in our prayers at this stressful time and pray that the outcomes reflect how hard they have all worked this year.
