Bear Bulletin
Week of October 24
From the Principal
What an awesome week we have had at BES! On top of the teaching and learning that fills our days, we enjoyed a super fun kick of to our book fair. We had book character dress up day (wow, the creativity!), community guest readers in every class, and we started previewing the amazing selection of books in the book fair. If you are not following our BES Facebook page, you are missing out on so many great pictures of our days! Check us out HERE!
Don’t forget that tonight from 5:30 - 7:00 we have our annual Pumpkin Walk event on the BES Bus Loop. This is a family-friendly event that is similar to a trunk or treat. Students are welcome to wear a costume and the whole family is invited!
The book fair will also be open late tonight, so after you stroll through the Pumpkin Walk for some sweet treats, you can come inside and see the great books on sale this year. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight!
Looking ahead to next week, we have a parent session on Internet and social media safety. If your child has a cell phone, social media, or plays online gaming, you don't want to miss this very informative session. While it will be focused on kids in grades 3 - 5, all BES parents are welcome. Childcare will be provided for BES students.
