Stage Notes
East Lincoln High School Chorus & Theatre Newsletter
November 2023
The Stage Notes Newsletter is published the first of every month and contains lots of information about both the Theatre Arts and Choral Music programs at East Lincoln High School. We want to try not only to get the word out about upcoming performances, but also to keep our community up-to-date on what our students are doing and how they can partner with us to produce the highest quality programs.
If you have friends, family, or neighbors who would enjoy this monthly look into theatre and chorus, share with them our website, www.EastLincolnOnStage.org, and they can sign up to receive the newsletter at the bottom of any page.
Thanks for being a part of our performing arts community!

Mustang House of Horrors: Season 2
We had another amazing weekend of horrors as the cast and crew shifted their creativity to two nights of frights. With loads of laughter and scads of screams, community members of all ages explored this years repulsive rooms. It was great fun to have so many folks running scared in support of East Lincoln on Stage. Check out out more pictures of the event at EastLincolnOnStage.org/horrorpics.
Keep your eyes open for the Mustang House of Horrors: Season 3 coming in October 2024!
East Lincoln On Stage Takes On The NCTC High School Play Festival
East Lincoln on Stage just completed their first trip to the North Carolina Theatre Conference High School Play Festival. Our piece, “The Lost Boy,” is a unique take on the origin of classic tale of Peter Pan and Neverland. "The Lost Boy" was recognized for use of theatre to explore grief, and student director Aeris Phelan was recognized for excellence in student directing. Our students were proud of to make their first appearance at the play festival and look forward to returning next year with some experience under their belt.
East Lincoln's Annual Homecoming Dance!
This year’s 2023 homecoming dance is in the books as a night enjoyed by all! Classics like the Cha Cha Slide and Macarena played while students danced their hearts out. We are delighted to congratulate Ava Anzalone and King Watkins on their homecoming King and Queen titles. Thank you to everyone who helped set up, run the dance, and clean up after the event!
