Bond Election 2020
I'm not sure if anyone has heard about this, but we have an election coming up! On the 2020 ballot, Lago Vista ISD will present a bond for facility improvements to the Elementary School, Middle School and High School.
I have included Quick Facts about the Bond, and also links to several meetings that Mr. Webb (our superintendent) will be holding. If you have any questions about how this will effect the middle school, feel free to call or email me.

Deliveries for your Student
Please be aware that we have a desk set outside the MS office for drop-off deliveries. Fill out a student message form and leave with the delivery item. Our office aides will deliver the note to your student so that they will know to pick up the item. If you need to speak to the office about anything not related to the delivery, please press the buzzer on the wall for us to be able to speak to you through the speaker safely. Please understand that we cannot allow parents to bring items into the office area. Thank you for your understanding of us limiting visitors to the school.

What Day Is It?
Help Keep Us Playing!
- Spectators, audiences, fans and media are required to wear face coverings as described in Executive Order GA-29.
- Groups should maintain at least six feet of distance from other groups at all times, including the process of admission and seating. A group is defined as no more than 10 people including the members of the household and those persons who traveled together to the facility.
UIL is very serious about these guidelines, and if we want to continue to play sports this year, we must take these to heart. Photos from different schools not following this guidance have already been circulating, which puts all of our programs at risk.
Please make sure to wear a mask at all times and respect social distancing.
Volleyball Travels To Llano
Our volleyball teams competed against Llano on Monday. Below you will find the results for our teams:
8 Blue:
Our Blue team had a fantastic game and came out on top in 2 sets, giving them now a 4-0 record for the season! Our leading servers were Claire Brumfield and Alexia Parker. Last week I had mentioned they craved more action and this week they got it! This game had more intensity and back and forth play than any others they have had. We were close in each game but proud that they stuck with it and succeeded! We have focussed on game play in practice this week to hopefully put us in a good spot against Blanco on Monday. Also contributing to our team win were: Paige Parsons, Stella Gjelaj, Bella Adams, Mia Garcia, Alexia Parker, Lindsay Sanders, Mya Barron, and Angie Woodall.
8 Gold:
Our 8th grade Gold Team continues to impress as they moved to 4-0 in district play. Monday night we competed against Llano. The 8 Gold team won in 3 sets, 25-19 and 23-25, and 25-18. Our leading servers were Melanie Sansom and Madison Kassell, both with 11 serves. Amelia Robinson led the team with 12 attacks at the net, followed by Melanie Sansom with 8 attacks. Mikayla Vasquez led the team with 31 passes, and Kanon Yetley led the team with 25 assists. Also contributing to the win was Emily Jungman, Sydney Hiebert, Lana Spedale, and Hanna Simmons. We will travel to Blanco on Monday for our next game.
7 Blue:
Our Blue team fought hard but couldn’t come out on top against Llano and lost in 2 sets. The girls now sit at a 2-2 record for the season. Our leading servers were Macy Thompson and Carli Parker. This group of girls continue to work hard. Llano had players that served well and hard and we just aren’t experienced enough to overcome that. We will continue to work on our strength and our serves at each practice throughout the season so they can become more confident on the court! Also contributing to our victory were: Lilah Smith, Josie Oatman, Milele McBride, Marlie Hawkins, Hannah Hood and Tori Lee.
7 Gold:
The 7 Gold team found themselves facing a very tough opponent in the 7 A Lady Yellow Jackets this past Monday evening. The girls competed well but came up short in a 2 sets to none defeat @ Llano. The girls were a little overwhelmed in the first set by the strong service game of Llano but rebounded very well in the second set with a strong service game of their own pushing the score into the 20’s before falling 25-22. The girls have continued to work hard during practice each day improving their service capabilities, as well as their understanding of position responsibilities and game play. They’ll travel to Blanco on Monday with a season record of 2 -2 where they hope to sweep the season series with the Lady Panthers.
