Whakatauki of the week:
Waihoi i te toipoto kaua i te toiroa (Let us keep close together, not wide apart) Lets keep the beautiful connections and friendships made over camp going. Keep supporting your classmates to succeed and most importantly lets enjoy the last week of term 1 together!
Kia ora whanau
A big thank you to everybody who made camp such a memorable experience. I enjoyed seeing our parents rolling up their sleeves, managing groups, running activities as well as having a bit of fun themselves. To the staff who organised and made it run so smoothly, thank you. Finally to the kids who represented the Patumahoe way and played the game with pride (and slept well) you were awesome.
Our little people had their own fun while the big kids were away on camp. They had the school to themselves and decided to have a 'Wheels and Water day' on Friday. I would imagine that there would have been some very tired children over the weekend.
I am really proud to read that some ex Patumahoe School students have continued to shine at Pukekohe Intermediate. The recent announcement of school leaders has included many of "our" kids and I am so happy for them and their whanau.
