October ~ Breast Cancer Awareness Month
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of detecting breast cancer early. Make a difference! Spread the word about mammograms, and encourage communities, organizations, families, and individuals to get involved.
Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point.
The good news is that most women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat.

iPad Lock Codes Must Be Removed
ALL iPads need to have the lock codes removed. Unfortunately when a student unsuccessfully tries to enter the passcode too many times it will lock the iPad and in most cases, our tech person is unable to unlock it. In order to get the device back to them in a timely manner the iPads typically need to be wiped clean, which means they run the risk of losing data on the iPad storage which has not been stores on the cloud.
Backing up to cloud based storage should be common practice. Teachers have taught students how to do this.
