What is Communism?

Communism is a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

Example of communism

Visualize a world where everyone has equal amounts of wealth. Everyone has equal amounts of land, equal sized houses, the same government-issued cars, the same government-issued stoves, and he same government-issued cell phones. Although people do different jobs, they all get paid this weekend. Since everyone is equal, there are no social classes. In fact, there isn't even a need for money. People don't need to fight because all materials are shared in common through the government. Everyone works according to their ability, and everyone receives according to their needs.

What is a Command?

To be in a strong enough position to have or secure.

Who makes all the decisions in a command economy?

The frickin government.

Communism vs. Socialism

In a way, communism is an extreme version of socialism.
